AMERICAN CEOs ABANDON AMERICAN WORKERS FOR GLOBAL PROFITS

"Trade agreements" like NAFTA and the WTO, plus the growing number initiated by George Bush, are premeditated attacks by the corporate/government alliance designed to destroy "the social contract that allows the benefits of capitalism to be broadly shared." [Jeff Faux, The Global Class War, 2006]

When Bush gives American citizens that smirk and tells them that free trade will create good-paying jobs for American workers or that 20 million illegal aliens will only do jobs that Americans won't do, he's lying.

Trade agreements have cost American workers millions of jobs to illegal aliens from Mexico, H-1B visas from India and outsourcing to factories in China and other third world countries. Wages have dropped as a result. If this 2007 amnesty bill is passed, the number of foreign workers, many from Mexico, will soar.

Ask yourself if all these foreign workers are getting paid much lower wages and little or no benefits, how will Americans get good paying jobs, or for that matter, any jobs at all?

Consider this. America's corporate elite are moving fast to cut their ties with the United States and its citizens as they seek to become managers of global corporations. A sample of Fortune 500 company managers "roundly rejected" the following statement:

"Multinational corporations are not really multinational. They are national companies with units abroad."

The sampling of corporate leaders revealed that they "considered their corporations to be in a transitional state between the multinational corporation and the global corporation." [Sklair, The Transnational Capitalist Class, p.73]

There would be a "globalizing moment" when they would "stop thinking and acting primarily in terms of " 'developing foreign markets and meeting competition from abroad' and begin thinking about 'competitive strategies for global marketing.'

At this moment, "the corporation becomes intentionally stateless, breaking from its national culture." There is no bond between the corporation, the nation or its citizens.

For example, Alex Trotman, former head of Ford Motor Company, said in 1995, "Ford isn't even an American company...We're global. We're investing all over the world. Forty percent of our employees already live and work outside the United States, and that's rising. Our managers are international. We teach them to think and act globally." [ Robert B. For the United States it means becoming part of a trading region (North America or the Western Hemisphere) where corporations "do business--like any other place." Corporate leaders and their government co-conspirators in the United States, Mexico and Canada no longer have an allegiance to their nation.

Sovereignty is being transferred to organizations created by the alliance under NAFTA and the SPP of North America (based on the CFR plan for Building a North American Community). They are following the path of the European Union, which now has a constitution and is currently consolidating control over its member states.

George Bush has pushed this merger of North America as well as a merger of the Western Hemisphere (FTAA). On March 23, 2005, he said:

"In order to make sure the Free Trade Agreement of the Americas has a chance to succeed, it is important to show the sovereign nations in South America that trade has worked amongst the three of us." (SPP, Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America). He added that CAFTA (Central American Free Trade Agreement) is an "important part" of this hemispheric merger (FTAA).

American corporate leaders are not interested in the prosperity of American workers.

"In today's flatter world, many key U.S companies now make most of their profits abroad and can increasingly recruit the best (and cheapest) talent in the world today without ever hiring another American." [Thomas Friedman, 'C.E.O.s, M.I.A.', New York Times, May 25, 2005, p. 25]

Powerful forces are at work to destroy the "American way of life." They include: the current immigration (amnesty) bill, the SPP (a North American union), integration with the western Hemisphere, and deep economic integration with the European Union, an agreement signed by George Bush and leaders of the EU at the White House on April 30, 2007 and is now being put in place. http://www.whitehouse.gov/news/releases/2007/04/print/20070430-4.html

The goal of this corporate/government alliance is to increase profits for corporations without the restraints imposed by national laws and regulations. This is being done at the expense of the worker and the environment. If you are an American worker, the good times are coming to an end.

Jorge Castaneda's comment on the NAFTA applies to all trade agreements. It is "an accord among magnates and potentates: an agreement for the rich and powerful in the United States, Mexico, and Canada, an agreement effectively excluding ordinary people in all three societies.'

BOYCOTT CHINESE FOOD IMPORTS: SAVE AMERICAN LIVES

This is what George Bush, globalism and free trade has brought to America.

U.S. health officials (FDA) are checking all shipments of toothpaste coming from China "after the lethal chemical diethylene glycol, used in engine coolants, was found in toothpaste sold in the Dominican Republic and Panama...Tainted toothpaste has also been reported in Australia,"

Diethylene glycol from China also "killed people in Panama last year when it turned up in cough syrup as a harmless sweetener. An FDA spokesman says no test results are available yet on the toothpaste at U.S. ports." http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=10410111

The tainted toothpaste problem comes after Chinese-contaminated pet food, which killed and sickened an unknown number of animals in the United States, was also traced to the human food chain: chickens, hogs and farm-raised catfish.

"

A factory manager in eastern China has been arrested for using grease from swill. sewage, pesticides and recycled industrial oil to make lard for human consumption." [The New York Times, Dec. 5, 2006]

"...Tainted food impacts at least 300 million Chinese people a year and could lead to a disease outbreak that extracts a huge social and economic toll," according to the Asian Development Bank.

"

In recent years, China's actual food safety situation has led no one to be optimistic...The economic and social impact of the production of tainted foods is very large...diseases stemming from food can have a negative social impact and can even influence social stability." America, which used to produce food for its own citizens, now sells much of it to overseas markets as part of the globalization process (You know, we're all interdependent). This is taking place under the WTO, NAFTA and many other trade agreements that George Bush is pursuing, all for the benefit of the multinational corporations' bottom line.

In return, we import food products from third world countries, produced by governments and corporations where health and food safety is not part of the equation. The bad news is that China is a major supplier of ingredients used in both pet and human food products marketed by U.S. companies.

More bad news: China "supplies 80 percent of the world's vitamin C...one-third of the world's vitamin A...and many health food supplements." And, earlier this year, lead-contaminated multivitamins showed up on the shelves of U.S. retailers. [NPR]

And finally, just about all of the food products imported from China is not tested or inspected. Bush has cut back on employees at the FDA and they can't handle the task.

With the new trade agreements and the SPP (Security and Prosperity Partnership) of North America, also known as North America (the union), testing and standards will be set up by multinational corporations with the clear purpose of increasing profits.

The job of protecting your health and life is in your hands. You can only lose if you continue to play this game of Russian roulette. So start today by not buying any food, health food supplements, cosmetics, anything that can harm your body through contact, from China. You should extend that list to other countries as many have a rap sheet, although not even close to China's record.

Some products are not required to have country of origin labels so you may try checking with the FDA. There is a link on the NPR site listed above that has info on products from China that have been refused at U.S. ports and the reason for the action.

This is one boycott that will work. We have a clear and present danger and a solution. Buy American. Although we have tainted food problems at times, it's nothing on the order of this continuing nightmare out of China.

You have an easy choice. Stand up and send a message to Bush and his corporate buddies.

BUSH AND WARRANTLESS SPYING: REPLACING THE CONSTITUTION

At a White House press conference featuring Tony Blair and George Bush on May 17, 2007, Bush was asked if he had ordered White House Council Alberto Gonzales and his chief of staff Andrew Card to visit Attorney General John Ashcroft in the hospital (March 10, 2004) in order to get him to reauthorize the National Security Agency's secret (and illegal) domestic surveillance program. This, even though James B. Comey was acting Attorney General at the time and had refused to authorize it.

Bush looked very uncomfortable, like a deer in the headlights. He answered by referring to the subject in general and not to the question of his involvement. He refused to answer.

On the night of March 10, 2004, Mr. Ashcroft's chief of staff received a call from Ashcroft's wife, who said she was notified by the White House that Gonzales and Card were on the way to the hospital. He contacted Comey, who rushed to the hospital with his security detail.

Comey testified: "I have some recollection that the call was from the President himself, but I don't know that for sure." [nytimes.com, David Stout, May 15, 2007]

In the confrontation at the hospital, Mr. Ashcroft, from his bed, "lifted his head off the pillow and in very strong terms expressed his views on the matter...[then said] But that doesn't matter, because I'm not the attorney general. There is the attorney general," pointing to Comey. Gonzales and Card left, without a signature and without a word to Comey. [ The Seattle Times, Dan Eggen and Paul Kane, May 16, 2007]

As a result, the (illegal) surveillance program was reauthorized on March 11, 2004, without a signature from the Department of Justice..." [New York Times, 2007/05/15]

It seems likely that George Bush did send Gonzales and Card to the hospital to convince a sick John Ashcroft to sign off on the program.

In fact, it fits his history of actions that are destroying the U.S Constitution, such as his assault on the 4th amendment, his failure to carry out his oath of office by not enforcing Article IV, Section 4 of the Constitution, and, by engaging in a conspiracy with corporate leaders, members of his administration, the Congress and others to replace the sovereign United States of America with a union of North America.

This union will have a government, including a parliament, that will exercise sovereignty over the three member states of the union. And the laws and constitutions of North America's three states will be harmonized, rendering them null and void, much like what is happening in the European Union now. GEORGE BUSH, THE FTAA, AND THE NEW GLOBAL ORDER

The last two decades have seen efforts by the NEW WORLD ORDER elites increase considerably as they execute their plan to bring about the end of the sovereign nation state.

On June 27, 1990 George H.W. (NWO) Bush announced the Enterprise for the Americas Initiative with "the eventual goal of a free trade area covering the entire Western Hemisphere." It would follow the path of the European Union as it moved from a common market to a soon-to-be sovereign European superstate, without the knowledge of consent of the people.

George W. Bush picked up the torch for the Americas" Initiative. now called the FTAA (Free Trade Area of the Americas), in a speech on the National Security Strategy of the United States [September 20, 2002] http://www.mtholyoke.edu/acad/intrel/bush/doctrine.htm

We will "press regional initiatives. The United States and other democracies in the Western Hemisphere have agreed to the Free Trade Area of the Americas, targeted for completion in 2005."

Although the FTAA ran into some roadblocks it is still an active project. In the meantime, another agreement, called the SPPNA (Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America), was initiated in Waco, Texas on March 23, 2005 by the leaders of the United States, Mexico and Canada. The completion date of this union is scheduled for 2010 under a plan for Building a North American Community.

The plan was put together by a task force at the Council on Foreign Relations, also without the knowledge or consent of the American people. Working groups, operating out of the U.S. Department of Commerce under Geri Word, are constructing this union with input from their counterparts in Mexico and Canada. Key components for constructing this union are embedded in both the Senate and House immigration bills. Some legislators want to use S. 2611, which was passed by the Senate in 2006. It will be a superstate, with institutions that govern North America. It will also have sovereignty over the three member states. North America can later add new members, like the EU is doing. This new trading state (essentially the FTAA by another route), when completed, would consist of 34 nations of the Western Hemisphere and 800 million people, plus a new name.

George Bush is on record for this integration of regions and the world with global trade agreements.

"In a globalized world, events beyond America's borders have a greater impact inside them. Our society must be open to people, ideas, and goods from across the globe (Especially nutritious foods from China)...A diverse, modern society has inherent, ambitious, entrepreneurial energy." Robert Muller, former United Nations Assistant Secretary General, elaborated on this at the 1997 Global Citizenship 2000 Youth Congress:

"...let us create regional continental units...the European Union, an American Union which I've been pushing, too--and this is how you got the trade agreement between the US and Canada. And then we'll take the five continents, and the five continents, if they're united, will create a World Union." [re-zoning, p.2]

In 1992 Professor Philip Bom predicted:

"The European community will be transformed into an all-European Union. So, too, the Americas (Western Hemisphere) will be transformed into an integrated region of the NEW GLOBAL ORDER...

What is new is the drive and determination to develop common markets for political economic integration [governments]. Correspondingly, there is the determination to INSTITUTIONALIZE interdependence: a new global order through regional, bilateral and multilateral regulations...and through joint PARLIAMENTARY bodies." George Bush, ten years later in his speech on the U.S. National Security Strategy:

"The Administration will work with Congress to enact new bilateral, regional, and global trade agreements that will be concluded under the Trade Promotion Authority (fast track).

"Trade policies can help developing countries strengthen...open societies...and regional integration." [U.S Security Strategy]

"Ultimately, however, the globalization of hemispheric free trade runs counter to national independence, bringing each of the participating countries into a converged economic, political, and military structure. Think of it as a 'grand chess play,' where the average citizen doesn't even make the grade of 'pawn.' [re-zoning, Carl Teichrib]

AMERICA: NO ASSIMILATION NECESSARY

The goal for all legal immigrants to learn English, assimilate into the American culture and become citizens is not going to happen. The reason is that immigrants, both legal and illegal (Latinos, mostly Mexican) will become citizens of North America. So will the citizens of the United States and Canada. We will all be North Americans. We will have a government that exercises sovereignty over the three member states. We will be on the fast track to that goal as soon as the latest amnesty bill is passed by Congress.

For Mexicans it means the ability to live and work in America or Canada, eventually. That is why the CFR plan for Building a North American Community calls for the U.S. to "Implement the Social Security Totalization Agreement negociated by the United States and Mexico" now. [CFR p.27]

With this agreement millions of illegals and their dependents and survivors in Mexico could qualify for U.S. Social Security payments. Bush has not signed it due to opposition in Congress but an effort was made in the last immigration bill to credit Mexican immigrants, including illegals, with social security contributions.

The totalization agreement would also credit illegal Mexicans for contributions made to the program. Under this agreement "...unauthorized illegal immigrants could qualify for benefits with as few as 6 coverage credits as opposed to the previously required 40, combined with earnings from Mexico."

Although we come from three separate, formerly sovereign nations, with significant differences, especially Mexico, we will become North Americans. In case it didn't register, that is what the government/corporate alliance was all about the last few years as they beat the multicultural drum and gave us that 1984 slogan, 'Diversity is our Strength'. (Both propaganda projects are currently being utilized by the European Union.)

With social security coverage, the CFR plan wants, by 2010, to create a "North American preference."

"Canada, the United States, and Mexico should agree on streamlined immigration and labor mobility that enable citizens of all three countries to work elsewhere in North America with far fewer restrictions than immigrants from other countries."

And by 2010, "move to full labor mobility between Canada and the United States."

"To make companies based in North America as competitive as possible in the global economy, Canada and the United States should consider eliminating all remaining barriers to
the ability of their citizens to LIVE AND WORK IN THE OTHER COUNTRY [my caps] This free flow of people would give them access to a larger pool of skilled labor,... In the longer term, the two countries should work to extend this policy to Mexico as well, though doing so will not be practical until wage differentials between Mexico and its two North American neighbors have diminished considerably." [CFR pp. 27,28] Bush and his corporate masters are working hard to lower American wages and make this a reality.

So no one has to assimilate. All North Americans will eventually be free to roam the continent where they can compete for jobs at low wages and set up their residence.

This trading state will continue to absorb sovereignty from the member states, like the European Union is doing to it's member states although it is much further down that road , with a 300-page constitution and in the process of taking over criminal justice, planning for a single president and a single foreign policy.

Corporations will utilize the cheapest workers available in North America, including the professions. This new superstate will be a geographical area where business runs roughshod over workers, the environment, health and safety.

It will be a hostile world, with violence between competing groups. This is already happening in California where Latino gangs (many members are illegal aliens) have the "green light" to kill black American citizens in a plan to ethnically cleanse the group from California, a pogrom underway for the last 10 years. Corporate America wants to break up the middle class so it can operate unhindered in its quest for profits. They want a world in which the workers are dependent on them for their livelihood. The working class is there to serve them. North American institutions will govern them and those safeguards that were in the Constitution for American citizens will be null and void. Bush is busy trying to delete as many as he can, preparing the way ( Patriot Act, Military Commissions Act of 2006, overiding Amendment 4 of the Constitution).

JOHN McCAIN: IN VIOLATION OF HIS OATH

Senator John McCain has clearly shown by his actions that his loyalty is not to America or the Constitution he swore to uphold when he took the oath of office. The fact that he is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations is all you need to know in order to understand what is happening to our nation.

Some examples of our leaders pursuing policies that are harmful to our nation: failure to secure our borders, support for bringing in foreign workers or sending our factories overseas, selling off America's infrastructure to foreign companies, and secret meetings to plan a merger with Canada and Mexico.

The Council on Foreign Relations has a plan for Building a North American Community (a union) that is scheduled for completion by 2010. Also known as NAFTA plus, it will become a union of the three NAFTA nations, run by trade agreements for the benefit of corporations. Citizens and the environment are not a consideration in this trading state.

This is important. Unlike the European Union, this union and the next step up to a trading state of 34 nations in the Western Hemisphere (FTAA), is for the multinational corporations only. There is wording in the draft of the FTAA (Free Trade Area of the Americas) which specifically states that the environment and Labor (human beings) will not be addressed by the agreement. Citizens of this megastate will be on their own.

CFR members (like George H.W. Bush) have had important positions in government for decades, their goal being the end of the nation state and its replacement with a regional government. This trade agreement (FTAA) was to have been in place by 2005 but the effort was blocked by some South American nations.

So in 2005, the leaders of America, Canada, and Mexico agreed to construct a union of North America, otherwise known as the SPPNA (Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America). This union would be run by a supranational government with a growing sovereignty over each member state. Plans include a North American Advisory Council to "provide an agenda and support" for a North American Inter-Parliamentary Group.

Two organizations of this North American Union are already in place. One is the NAFTA tribunal, which can overturn rulings (under its NAFTA jurisdiction) by any U.S.court and the other is the NACC (North American Competitiveness Council), each NAFTA nation having 10 CEOs ( Wal-Mart, Lockheed-Martin) serving in the organization.

The CEOs of the member states meet with each other, then with the leaders of their respective governments and ministers (Condoleeza Rice and Michael Chertoff for the U.S.).They give these government officials tasks that need to be completed (laws, policy changes, etc.) and, in the words of Prime Minister Harper of Canada, "they make sure we implement them."

McCain has been doing his part for over a decade, voting for and sponsoring bills that would welcome a continuing flow of immigrants (legal and illegal) into America. This is an important part of constructing the union: cheap labor to help North America compete against China, and 60+ million immigrants over the next 20 years (not counting dependents and relatives) to pay into Social Security for the baby boomer retirements.

And, of course, a polyglot population from three nations competing against each other for low-paying jobs, even professionals, keeps citizens of North America from uniting to oust the bad guys in charge of this geographical region without a soul, a place where corporate profit is the only reason for existence. McCain has been trying to get bills through Congress that would help the completion of the union. He was a co-sponsor of S. 853, which would speed up the flow of commerce and people across borders by using technology to clear both through without delays. Trucks by the thousands would cross borders without stopping because they would have been checked at ports of entry or at overseas ports. Yes. That's the CFR plan. So much for Homeland Security.

To accomplish this, a common security perimeter would have to be established around North America [pp.3, 8 CFR plan]. McCain, besides being a co-sponsor of S. 2611, had a significant role in putting this "comprehensive immigration Reform Act " together. Now both Houses have offered up new bills for 2007 that are essentially the old S. 2611, including wording that would implement this "common security perimeter" and give a boost toward completing this North American Union. This wording can be found in S. 853, also co-sponsored by McCain.

According to Natalie Riggs of Glendon College (Canada), a security perimeter "...poses problems for sovereignty and the purpose of borders...if Canada loses power over policy making to the United States, it is losing the absolute and independent authority that defines a sovereign state." [A Review of Canadian Security Policy 2004]

In fact, all three nations will lose sovereignty to this new government alliance once it's completed. And the population of the United States could reach half a billion by 2050, causing enormous, irreparable damage.

A North America run by big business would be catastophic. Without a nation filled with citizens who share the same basic values and who proudly proclaim their allegiance to that nation, there is nothing to keep ethnic tensions from escalating into a breakdown of law and order (already happening in California with violence against Blacks by Latinos on a local level, along with some ethnic cleansing in the hood).

In the future, violence will be commonplace. Government services cannot be maintained. The influx of people from an alien culture with hostile intentions toward America and the majority of its citizens is a guaranteed recipe for the Balkanization and eventual demise of the United States of America.

John McCain and this cabal, consisting of the President, government officials, Congressmen and corporate leaders, are insuring that this will happen, thinking, perhaps, that they can control the monster they've created. Or maybe, they don't see it at all. Look at what they've wrought so far.

McCain is guilty of violating his oath of office which reads: "I do solemly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the Same;..."

The fact is, John McCain, you are that domestic enemy. Overthrowing our constitutional republic is illegal whether you do it quickly, with weapons, or over time, working secretly in the halls of government.

"A nation can survive its fools and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is freely known and he carries his banners openly. But the traitor moves among those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very hall of government itself...He rots the soul of a nation--he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of a city--he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. UPDATES: HOUSE AND SENATE SET TO PASS NORTH AMERICAN UNION BILL

Both the House and Senate will soon have a "comprehensive Immigration" bill to vote on but there won't be much difference. They will use S.2611, the bill that was passed by the Senate last year. This is the legislation that has wording which provides for a "common security perimeter" around North America (America, Canada, and Mexico). It is the key to integrating these three nations into a North American Union.

"Now it appears that the Senate is giving up on hammering out a new bill and will reintroduce S. 2611..." the 2006 version, according to visalaw.com [March 18, 2007]

On March 22, 2007, "Luis Gutierrez (D-IL) and Jeff Flake (R-AZ) introduced the STRIVE Act...,which is the House's big comprehensive reform bill for the year." It will contain a few new items but "Most of the rest of the bill looks like it is coming from last year's Senate bill..." (S.2611) http://www.visalaw.com.html

Both sides are speeding up their efforts to get this bill passed. Time is running out for our nation. You need to contact your congressman now. Start with the House of Representatives where opposition to the North American Union is much stronger.

If we fail to stop this criminal act, the FTAA (Free Trade Area of the Americas) is next on the agenda and will involve the merger of 34 nations of the Western Hemisphere, a project that Bush wanted completed by 2005 (failed because of opposition in some South American nations). There are no provisions for labor (citizens) or the environment in the FTAA draft. It will be a trading state, again for the benefit of corporations. Documentation is plentiful.

KENNEDY/McCAIN 'CRIME AGAINST AMERICA ACT of 2007'

If the Kennedy/McCain comprehensive immigration bill of 2007 passes, a crucial piece of legislation will be in place to complete the integration of America, Canada, and Mexico. Yes, the North American Union.

The current immigration bill of 2007, being put together in secret, is a revised version of S. 2611, the Comprhensive Immigration Reform Act of 2006 and contains wording that designates the Secretary of State as the one responsible for overseeing progress on, among other things, the completion of "a common security perimeter" around these three nations.

This would make it possible for the borders to eventually be open to the free flow of people and commerce and the development of a fully integrated community (union). In fact, two elements of an "economic" government for North America are in place, the NAFTA tribunal and the NACC, consisting of 10 CEOs from each nation (WAL-MART, UPS, LOCKHEED-MARTIN) that is "institutionalized" and meeting with leaders and high officials. They tell government what they want and it becomes implemented.

This plan for a common security perimeter around North America is taken from S. 853, co-sponsored by John McCain, a member of the CFR (Council on Foreign Relations). He is also an open borders and North American Union advocate, who will certainly keep the wording in his new immigration bill. S. 2611 is a long bill and more components of the integration of America, Canada, and Mexico are embedded in it. I've found some. For example, drivers licenses, courtesy of the Real ID Act of 2005, will be tested after the immigration bill is signed in demonstration programs.

Using machine readable technology, a driver's license which meets the requirements... shall be deemed to be sufficient to enter the United States from Canada or Mexico through not less than 1 designated international border crossing in each state participating in the demonstration program.

All three nations will, of course, harmonize their systems and maintain data bases on every citizen of their nation with a license and documents that support the info on each license. The documentation will be stored on digital images, which can be called up instantly to verify identity, driving record, etc. [SEC. 135]

This opens up all kinds of possibilities.

Americans must speak up loudly and demand that their representatives thoroughly inspect the new immigration bill and reject this "Crime Against America Act." This is your last chance to defeat the corporate/government attempt to overthrow our constitutional republic and the rights we had before this evil cabal seized the opportunities provided by 9/11.

And those who commit these acts in secret against America, as if they are doing something illegal, something shameful, must be treated like the criminals they are.

WAITING FOR THE RUSSIANS

13 February 1987

I majored in philosophy, which is the reason (no jobs) why I found myself standing in the bedroom of a weather beaten trailer on a tiny island, staring at the remains of two unarmed nuclear warheads. I volunteered for this assignment to Illeginni Island since it gave me a chance to add to my tax free savings account, something not possible back in the states.

Illeginni is one of 93 islands and islets on Kwajalein Atoll in the Republic of the Marshall Islands. This coral reef is some 2000 miles southwest of Hawaii, enclosing the largest lagoon in the world. It's also home to the United States Army at Kwajalein Atoll (USAKA), where strategic weapons systems are tested. Mostly it means having ICBMs launched from Vandenburg AFB, California at targets in the lagoon or Illeginni. These intercontinental ballistic missiles carry unarmed nuclear warheads( aka RVs, reentry vehicles), some loaded with depleted uranium in order to track them. Star Wars testing was in its early stages (late 1980s) at Meck Island, midway up the eastern reef.

When I arrived at Kwaj in August of 86, the Soviet Union was on the verge of collapse. The government, though, continued to pour resources into intelligence gathering operations at America's premier test site in the Central Pacific. Up to two surface ships (nicknamed Brand X) and six submarines gathered signal intel and occasionally sent Russian Spetsnaz units ashore. Our contract police force of 100 officers and 20 Marshallese constables were stretched thin as we tried to keep the islands free of unauthorized personnel and electronic devices.

I was at police HQ on the southern tip of the atoll when the call came in from the commander's office (Colonel Chapman) ordering two officers on Illeginni ASAP. Minutes later Angel, a Philippino from LA, and I were in the UH-1 Huey climbing to 450 feet and crossing over to the western reef, heading north.

There had been a mission earlier that morning but no one would fill us in on what happened. Warheads had been targeted for Illeginni but that shouldn't have presented any problems. The reason two Americans were sent is because the Marshallese didn't have secret clearances.

As we approached the southern tip of Illeginni I noticed a couple of landing craft unloading some heavy equipment. The microwave tower was still there, next to the manmade hill that once housed antiballistic missiles in silos during the 1970s ABM tests.

As the helicopter turned into the easterly breeze and flared for a landing, I could see activity throughout the northern half of the island. After landing, I learned that the MX Peacekeeper, launched from Vandenburg, California, had released three warheads. Recovery crews were digging through the craters, searching for the remains of the six foot bullets.

One warhead landed in the lagoon a few yards east of the island. The crater from a second, about eight feet deep and twenty feet across, was only ten yards south of the helipad.

The most action was taking place at the workers' camp in the center of the island. Out of use since the ABM tests ended, these buildings now bear the scars from numerous hits by incoming warheads.

This was the location of the third warhead. Although targeted for the center of a water storage structure, the errant bullet landed about seventy yards too long. That's not bad shooting. Close does count in horseshoes and hydrogen bombs.

The warhead hit the rear of the island's generator building, stripping off all exterior metal and buckling the rear girder. Both generators were inoperable and parts from the structure were

ejected for several hundred yards. The wall of the dining hall next door had been blown in by the "kinetic impact effects of the RV". Restoring power to the island was a top priority. Construction equipment headed from the harbor to the impact site where workers tried to sort out electrical cables that ran from the generators to beneath the island's only street.

There are no lights on the stretch of street from the helipad south through the camp and jungle area-only a single porch light on the security trailer. At night it's so dark that you could develop film. Coconut rats scurry across the road and sometimes a coconut will crash down from a tree, shattering the stillness and my nerves as well. The Marshallese say you can sometimes see the ghost of a dead Japanese general walking through the trees. So the constables sleep with the lights on, blinds drawn, and a sheet pulled over their heads for protection against the spirits.

Angel decided to take the first six-hour shift while I acquired a cot and made for the shade of some trees. The shade offered little relief,though, since the tradewinds had died altogether for the first time since my arrival on Kwaj.

Everyone but a six-man utility crew had returned to Kwajalein Island (on Kwajalein Atoll) by 1730. The recovery team left a couple of large cans in the bedroom of our trailer for safekeeping. They

contained slightly used MX warheads, now just small pieces of twisted grey metal.

I went on duty and my first decision was to climb the circular drive to the top of the launch hill and check for breezes. There were none. I settled down on the hatch cover of a missile silo and gazed at the islands perched atop the coral reef which meandered south towards Kwaj Island.

Fairy terns rose into the warm rays of the sun and dived toward the green jungle around me. I took off my gunbelt and placed it at my feet, then unzipped my jumpsuit to get a little more comfortable. This is more what I had in mind, a deserted (almost) tropical island and not a care in the world, although this was Friday the 13th.

I had started to relax when I heard the faint wop wop wop of another UH-1. I looked down the reef at Legan Island about eight miles away and picked out a black speck to the left of the microwave tower there. The last thing I expected was someone flying up this late in the day.

I slapped on my gear and went over to the north side of the hill. Angel sat on the pier below, intent on his fishing.

"Angel," I yelled twice.

The old man looked up and cupped his hand to his ear. I pointed south and shouted.

"De plane. De plane."

He smiled, shrugged and returned to his fishing while I started for the helipad. But the helicopter landed and took off again before I made it halfway.

Lieutenant Jack K. and officer Bill M. met me on the road. Bill, a 58 year old retired army airborne, had the same trim build as the day he signed up to serve in Korea. Both men suffered from the effects of years of hard living. Both had done tours in Vietnam.

Minutes late we were sitting at a table in the center room with both doors and all the windows open but the air refused to circulate. Jack leaned against the wall.

"We were sent here by the army on orders from Washington."

He paused a moment to let this register.

Angel gave me a puzzled look. He was 64 , retired, with ten children and a ton of grandchildren back in Los Angeles. The most excitement he wanted was found at the end of a fishing line.

"Now, according to an intelligence report received earlier today, the Russians plan to send a security team ashore tonight. They'll be armed with automatic weapons. We are to observe only. I have this night vision camera to catch them on film. We are to avoid any confrontation. Don't initiate any firefights. Washington doesn't want an international incident. Any questions?"

"This security team. They're spetsnaz, right?"

"You got it."

"Well, where are the M-16s?'

I reminded him that the only weapons we had were our sidearms (.38) and that at 42 I was the youngest of the group and we just might be slight underdogs if it starts to go downhill.

"I know, the colonel turned down my request. This is voluntary since you weren't notified before coming up here."

"No. I'm in. Just bringing up a few facts."

Angel spoke quietly. "I'm too old to fight. I fought the Japanese. I will stay here tonight."

Angel was well past his prime and no one expected the Russians to show up and we let it drop.

We had an American naval intelligence ship tracking Brand X. They intercepted the message from the Russian commander to HQ, translated it and sent a Flash priority message to NSA HQ in Ft. Meade Maryland. The White House (President Reagan) was notified, and, after meeting with his advisors, ordered this operation. Not exactly a brilliant idea.

While two electricians continued to work on the generator problem in a nearby manhole, the lieutenant and Bill set up the camera on top of a concrete structure which may have once held classified documents. A low block wall on three sides of the roof provided cover and concealment with a clear view of the northern half of Illeginni.

I set up an observation post on the hill at the south end of the island. I thought the moon would provide significant light when it appeared later on but a mid-level cloud cover moved in by 1900.I sat on the hatch cover and watched the islands grow dark and finally disappear into the night.

The red light from the microwave tower on Legan Island provided the only reference point for me as I scanned the ocean. A light mist began to fall and as I stared at the tower light I noticed a white light, about the same height, separate from the tower.

I checked my watch. 2024 hours.

"51--52,"

"51, Go ahead."

"Coming at you."

"Roger that."

I watched the light as it move up the reef, then go out. I started walking down the circular drive, trying to figure out a place for concealment in the trees near the crater behind the generator building. I made my way up the road, dehydrated and not optimistic about the outcome. Then I looked up and saw a light shining in the distance. The lights were back on.

"52--51. That takes care of that. You can stay up with us if you want some OT."

"Roger that.."

I couldn't sleep anyway. The adrenalin flowed and all night the same question kept repeating in my head: What if?

MUHAMMAD: A MODEL FOR TODAY'S TERRORISTS

Without violence, Islam would cease to exist. The vast majority of Muslims do not commit violent crimes in the name of Allah but a significant number of the 1.3 billion followers, that is the clerics and the true believers, will do whatever it takes to establish and maintain Islamic rule worldwide.

Those who say that Islam is a peaceful religion and is compatible with democracy (George Bush) are either lying or have never studied the history of the religion and the violent, criminal life of its founder, Muhammad.

The Quran, Islam's holy book, is used by both "moderates" and "radicals."It is the same book.. The only difference is that the moderates, like moderates in any religion or organization, have a life to live and are minimal participants. The radicals (true believers), however, will commit or support any acts, including violence, to defend and spread this theology of hatred and terror.

These are the real Muslims. Without them, Islam, which has nothing positive to offer humanity, would fade away as the modern secular world attracts the less ardent majority. Or, as an Iranian cleric said a century ago, "Islam will perish."

To understand why Islam is associated with violence, one only has to look at the life of Muhammad and the huge influence he has on Muslim men. The Hadiths, a record of the words and deeds of the prophet, are second only to the Quran in importance to the faithful. All Muslim men are encouraged to emulate Muhammad, whose life is considered to be the highest standard of behavior for mankind (by Muslims, that is).

The facts, though, present a different picture if we judge him by generally accepted standards of good behavior.

For example, while in exile in Medina (Yathrib), Saudi Arabia, the prophet was ridiculed by the Jews for trying to convert them to Islam. Muhammad handled these criticisms by ordering his detractors assassinated. In the case of Abu Afak, a 120 year old Jewish man who urged people to reject the false prophet, Muhammad had Salem Ibn Umayr run a sword through the elderly man while he slept.

After his murder, a jewish poetess named Asma Marwan spoke out against Islam and Muhammad, asking who would stop him? Hearing this, another hit man, Umayr b, Adiy al-Katmi, went to the woman's home, removed the baby she was nursing and killed her by the sword. Muhammad told the killer: "You have helped God and his apostle, O Umayr." This became the generally accepted way of silencing the critics of Islam and the prophet.

Muhammad's influence is evident today as those who speak negatively of either put their own lives at risk. Remember the fatwa pronounced by the Ayatollah Khomeini on Salman Rushdie in 1989? He sentenced the writer to death for blasphemy and insulting Islam in his book,The Satanic Verses.

Then there was Theo van Gogh, a filmmaker who was killed by Mohammed Bouyeri, a Muslim, on an Amsterdam street in 2004 for making a film about women abused by Islam. He stated that, "If I ever get free, I would do it again." [The reason? Van Gogh had insulted Islam.

The list of atrocities by Muslims against Muslims and non-Muslims for merely speaking out or writing about Muslim violence is long and spans centuries. There is no tolerance in Islam.

In addition to assassinations, Muhammad launched a jihad against Jewish villages to take care of the enemies of Islam. In April of 627, after the surrender of the Beni Quraidha near Medina, the prophet had all of the men and boys of fighting age (about 900) beheaded. His campaign wiped out most of the Jews in the area. The women and children were taken as slaves and their property divided among the Muslim army. Muhammad took Rayhana Bint Zayd, a beautiful Jewish woman, to add to his collection. Her brother, husband and father had just been beheaded by the prophet's army of Allah.

Muhammad set the standard for beheading those who refused his "religion." Muslims were emulating the prophet when they beheaded Daniel Pearl in Pakistan and Nick Berg and Paul Johnson in Iraq.

The prophet is also the inspiration for the Arab Muslim jihad/turned ethnic cleansing of Black Africans in the Sudan. The methods are the same, though. They include: mass murder, rape, torture, looting and slavery.

The Quran is filled with exortations from Allah to commit violent acts against non-Muslims. For example:

Sura 8:12 "I shall instill terror into the hearts of the Unbelievers; Smite ye above their necks (behead them) and smite their fingertips off."

Sura 47:4 "Therefore, when you meet the Unbelievers (in fight), strike off their heads..."

Aside from the blood and gore, this perfect example of the Muslim man found the time to consumate his marriage to Aisha, who was nine at the time. This is the legal age for girls to marry today in a number of Muslim countries.

Muhammad also married the wife of his adopted son after observing her assets one day. Allah, through the angel Gabriel, told Muhammad that he concurred with his decision.

The record is clear. Islam is a violent religion and will bring about a new dark age if its adherents are allowed to reach their goal of a world ruled by Islamic law (sharia).

Sharia: The Muslim New World Order

The push is on by elite groups to unite the world with trade agreements and establish the institutions needed for world government in order to control the masses (AKA) human capital) and , of course, make it possible for the ruling elite to continue living the dream.

But there is another movement with plans for a New World Order and that is the Muslim mission to establish a world governed by sharia, or Islamic law. As Muslims, they are on a mission from Allah (not to be confused with George Bush's mission from God, a deity who also wants free trade for the world and huge profits for multinational corporations).

The Muslims have a plan, according to a document found in a raid on the home of a Muslim Brotherhood associate in Switzerland on November 7, 2001. The plan, referred to as the "Project", lays out a coordinated scheme to implement Allah's draconian rule for the world. A few of the points for carrying out this plan include:

Developing a comprehensive 100-year plan to advance Islamist ideology throughout the world.

Building extensive networks of schools, hospitals and charitable organizations dedicated to Islamists' ideals so that contact with the movement for Muslims in the West is constant.

Involving ideologically committed Muslims in democratically-elected institutions on all levels in the West, including government (Congress), NGOs, private organizations and labor unions.

Making the Palestinian cause a global wedge issue for Muslims.

Actively creating jihad terror cells within Palestine.

Linking the terrorist activities in Palestine with the global terror movement.

The attempt to bring about Islamic rule in Europe is progressing rapidly. Three reasons for the Muslim success are: European nations' imposition of multiculturalism, secularism and a more tolerant tilt toward Islam by government, plus millions of immigrants (cheap labor to replace a declining work force among the white population of Europe and to pay into the retirement funds for the large number of retirees expected).

There have been plenty of warnings for the infidels, like the following:

"One day millions of men will leave the southern hemisphere of this planet to burst into the northern one. But not as friends. Because they will burst in to conquer, and they will conquer by populating it with their children. Victory will come to us from the wombs of our children." Houari Boumedienne (former Algerian President), speaking to the UN General Assembly in 1974.

This sounds like the Mexican Reconquista in the United States but this Islamic leader was talking about spreading Islam to Europe with a much larger goal in mind. That would be Islamic law ruling the world.

Right now Europeans are fearful of the future because of an estimated 20,000,000 Muslims who are not assimilating and who, in rising numbers, favor rule by sharia. An ICM opinion poll shows that 40% of "...British Muslims want sharia law introduced into parts of the country..."

Muslims in America and Canada are following many of the same tactics being used across the Atlantic. They are committed to the movement. A Muslim anywhere in the world must be loyal to Islam. A Muslim elected to Congress, for example, cannot swear an oath to uphold the Constitution and mean it. His loyalty must be to Islamic rule. The Quran is his guide.

Omar M. Ahmad, founder of CAIR, Council on American-Islamic Relations, stated the end game clearly, as have many others:

"Islam isn't in America to be equal to any other faith, but to dominate. The Koran, the Muslim book of scripture, should be the highest authority in America, and Islam the only accepted religion on earth." [San Ramon Valley Herald, July 4, 1988]

So that you understand what Islamic rule will be like if the western world does nothing to stop this particular attempt at a New World Order, here is a message from the late Ayatollah Khomeini:

"Allah did not create man so that he could have fun. The aim of creation was for mankind to be put to the test through hardship and prayer. An Islamic regime must be serious in every field. There are no jokes in Islam. There is no humor in Islam. There is no fun in Islam. There can be no fun and joy in whatever is serious."

And no toga parties.

Bush: A Holy Mission to Change the World

The list is long for those who are in the process of betraying America. One can start at the highest office in the land and go through Congress, the cabinet, advisors, heads of corporations, the media, etc.

They are guilty of destroying our nation from within. Bush is leading this cabal of Neocons and corporate leaders in his mission to change the world at God's behest, to spread democracy, by force if necessary, throughout the world and to connect that world with trade agreements which will bring peace and prosperity (for corporations).

In the process, Bush, along with the leaders of Canada and Mexico, have agreed to deconstruct their nations and merge into a union, the SPPNA, which will be run for the benefit of corporations. All three governments and their corporate allies are working overtime to accomplish this by 2010, before the American public awakes from its coma.

Bush has tried to sneak the Free Trade Area of the Americas agreement through Congress but failed due to opposition, including that from some of his South American targets. The goal of the FTAA is to form a trading state of the Western Hemisphere. It would consist of 34 nations of North and South America, plus the Caribbean, closely integrated by the agreement for the benefit of corporations and investors, not workers. There would be free movement across borders and some kind of supranational government.

The FTAA is a significant part of his special mission. He believes that "...there's a vital link between freedom of people and freedom of commerce." He said that the FTAA, "... will make our hemisphere the largest free trade area in the world, encompassing 34 countries (open borders) and 800 million people." [Remarks to the Organization of American States April 17,2001]

Bush clearly gives credit to God for his foreign policy. In a meeting with a Palestinian delegation at Sharm el-Sheikh in 2003, Palestinian foreign minister Nabil Shaath said Bush told him and Mahmoud Abbas: "I'm driven with a mission from God. God would tell me, 'George, go and fight those terrorists in Afganistan.' And I did, and then God would tell me, "George go and end the tyranny in Iraq,' and I did."

And "now again, I feel God's words coming to me: 'Go get the Palestinians their state and get the Israelis their security, and get peace in the Middle East.' And by God, I'm gonna do it." [Ewen MacAskill, October 9, 2005, Guardian]

Justin Raimondo, quoting George Bush on Iraq from a 2004 meeting with the press: "... freedom is the Almighty's gift to every man and woman in this world. And as the greatest power on the face of the earth, we have an obligation to help the spread of freedom." [J. Raimondo, George W, Bush:Neocon Napolean, 04/16/04]

He describes George Bush as "smoothly messianic," referring to a comment from the President to Bob Woodward (Plan of Attack) "...I believe we have a duty to free people...I would hope we wouldn't have to do it militarily, but we have a duty."

Bush, in response to a question, said "...can you ever win the war on terror? Of course you can. That's why it's important for us to spread freedom throughout the Middle East..."

If Bush and his band of incompetents had merely understood the logical reasons for not invading and occupying Iraq, the world would be a lot better off today.

It's simple. An invasion would destabilize the region. Sunnis and Shia are religious enemies, each following different sects of Islam. The Kurds in the north want an independant nation. Turkey is having trouble with its Kurdish minority on the northern border of Iraq and Iran supports the Iraqi Shia. Meanwhile, the Shia clerics are ready to install an Islamic government based on the sharia (Islamic law).

And, of course, Islam is not a peaceful religion. It survives only through the brutal and
uncompromising support the clerics and true believers bring against the enemies of Islam.

The RELIGION of Islam is also incompatible with democracy. Most Muslims will not commit violent acts. They are nominal Muslims. Like most people they are concerned with the practical tasks of daily life. As in any organization, it's the hard core that make it run. The problem is that the hard core of Islam could number in the tens of millions worldwide. How are you going to declare victory?

No problem for Bush. As he puts it: "...I fully understand the consequences of what we're doing. We're changing the world."

The Muslims have an expression when things go bad: "Ma shah Allah." It is God's will.

THE SENATOR FROM WAL-MART. A BAD DREAM?

A senator representing a corporation like Wal-Mart instead of American citizens? Well, not officially. I believe that's part of the lobbying process (known as bribery in the third world).

However, recent events by our nation's corporate/government alliance would seem to confirm something even more unsettling has taken place.

First, I invite everyone to read "The Space Merchants," written by Frederick Pohl and C.M. Cornbluth and published in 1952. It is science fiction but closely describes what is happening now in America. In fact, it presents an amazing view of the dystopian world we are about to enter.

In this future time multinational corporations run the world for profit. The environment has been decimated by overpopulation, real food is in short supply, nose plugs are worn outdoors in order to avoid inhaling pollutants and consumers, also known as workers, are beholden to companies for their contract jobs. Public services are privatized. Police departments are run by Pinkerton or Burns Detective Agency and Food Customs inspectors are provided by A&P food stores.

Two large advertising agencies compete to control this corporate world in which consumers are manipulated by the best ad pros, who can shape the publics' preferences before they become adults. Profits for the corporation and its stockholders are the reason for their existence, as they continue their efforts to capture more markets.

The story takes place in North America, a place where corporations decide where some of the huge excess of humanity will work and how much they will be paid. The biggest crime is BC, breach of contract. You can get off with a fine for killing someone but a breach of contract is not tolerated, unless you have some pull with the Chamber of Commerce.

In this world senators represent corporations. Not all senators are equal. For example, the Senator from Du Pont Chemicals has 45 votes while the Senator from Nash-Kelvinator only has 6. To get a bill passed quickly, the leader of the corporate world goes to the State Department and receives a promise from an attache' to "get the enabling bill put through committee this afternoon, and with any luck at all, it'll clear both houses tonight."

Today America is moving rapidly toward becoming a regional trading state for the benefit of multinational corporations through trade agreements that transfer constitutional power from Congress to corporate bureaucrats and tribunals, which trump the authority of the U.S. court system and Congress. Profit for corporations is the motive. An economic union of North America (SPPNA) is now being implemented and wages are being driven down with cheap imported labor so corporations in this union can compete against third world economies. Plans are in the works to eventually privatize, allowing corporations to bid on public services (for profit), such as: education, water, museums, social security. The icing on the cake is that pollution and shortages of water and farmland will get worse. And the catastrophe will be assured if the immigration floodgates are opened. Then America the Beautiful will become a fading memory.

And, speaking of unelected individuals running our nation, the leaders of the three member states of this union of North America have established the North American Competitiveness Council. It consists of ten members from each state. The U.S. branch of the NACC has a Secretariat, "composed of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and the Council of the Americas." Members of the NACC, "high-level business leaders (mostly CEOs), will meet with the leader of our nation, as well as ministers (U.S. Secretaries of Commerce and Homeland Security).

These business leaders will "advise" the President and Secretaries "...on issues of immediate importance and provide high-level, strategic, medium to long term advice." They will address "numerous subjects of mutual interest and concern among the North American nations in areas as diverse as the movement of goods, traveler security, energy, environment, and health." Corporations, it appears, will not have to spend so much time lobbying and handing out chump change to politicians in this new corporate/government alliance. When they advise our leaders, they are really saying, "This is what we want. Handle it."

On March 31, 2006 in Cancun, Mexico, the leaders of America, Canada, and Mexico met with business leaders of the North American Competitiveness Council. Prime Minister Harper of Canada made it clear who was running this developing union of North America:

"We committed to further engage the private sector. We've agreed to set up a North American Competitiveness Council, made up of business leaders from all three countries, to advise us on ways to improve the competitiveness of our economies. Wal-Mart happens to be the biggest multinational member of this "advisory" council. This group of CEOs has the power to make their wishes come true, administratively or with legislation passed by Congress. Why would the CEO of Wal-Mart want to become a senator. That would be a big step down.

Campell Soup Company, Chevron, Ford, FedEx, General Electric, General Motors, Kansas City Southern Industries, Lockheed Martin Corporation, Merck, Mittal Steel USA, New York Life, United Parcel Service, Wal-Mart, Whirlpool.

Learning Spanish in the New North America

If no one stops the birth of that corporate beast called North America (2010), the sovereign nation known as the United States of America will cease to exist. Then it's all downhill, including having to learn a new language, Spanish.

Robert Pastor, the principle designer of the North American Community ( one name mentioned for this union of Mexico, Canada, and America is North America), testified before Congress and said that we must think of ourselves as North Americans, not Americans. Toward this goal, researchers and educators must find ways to change the way we think of each other.

The multicultural folks will be active, of course, with their continuing deconstruction of America through re-education (psychological indoctrination).

The task of making Americans forget they were once part of the greatest nation on earth begins in the school. According to the plan for Building a North American Community, those responsible for implementing this union should "Develop teacher exchange programs for elementary and secondary school teachers. This would give some students a greater sense of a North American identity. Greater efforts should also be made to recruit Mexican language teachers to teach Spanish in the United States and Canada."

Katherine Harris Submits bill to form a North American Union

Last year Katherine Harris [R-FL] submitted a bill. H.R.2672, that would speed the merger of America, Canada, and Mexico into a union (political, economic, etc.) by 2010, without the knowledge or consent of the American people. It now resides in a House committee waiting for the appropriate moment to sneak it through.

The bill, called the North American Cooperative Security Act, is part of the plan for Building a North American Community, which is sponsored by the Council on Foreign Relations and approved by the leaders of the three nations and the CEOs of multinational corporations that will benefit from this regional trading state. Financial support for this deconstruction of America is provided by Archer Daniels Midland Company and Merrill Lynch & Company.

The plan was announced as the Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America by Bush, Fox of Mexico, and Martin of Canada on March 23, 2005 in Waco, Texas. All three leaders committed their nations to this union, essentially a coup d'etat without weapons, which would initially be run by trade agreements. American workers are only tools (cheap labor) in this corporate/government alliance.

The three member states would lose their remaining sovereignty when the process is finished. H.R. 2672 is taken directly from the CFR plan and will go a long way toward achieving this union, including providing support as Mexico works to secure its southern border with Guatemala and Belize. In addition, it will develop and implement "a North American immigration security strategy that works toward the development of a common security perimeter..." around the member states.

With a common security perimeter in place by 2010 the union should "move to full labor mobility between Canada and the United States...eliminating all barriers to the ability of their citizens to live and work in the other country." This policy should be extended to Mexico when the "...wage differentials between Mexico and its two North American neighbors have diminished considerably." [CFR plan]

Therefore, George Bush will continue to support open borders, illegal immigration, H-1B, L-1 visas, and other programs designed to lower the wages of American workers.

If you read further into the plan for Building a North American Community (pp.31.32), you will find a "suggestion" for a North American Advisory Council and a North American Inter-parliamentary Group, along the lines of the European Union. These two political constructions can then morph into law-making bodies.

And if the FTAA passes [a long shot at the moment], the regional trading state will include 34 nations of the Western Hemisphere. Chapter ll, article 4.2 of the FTAA Draft Agreement makes all laws and regulations of the member states, if applicable, subordinate to the trade agreement.
