“It shall be unlawful for any person other than a licensed importer, licensed manufacturer, licensed dealer, or licensed collector to possess a qualifying firearm on or after the applicable date, unless that person has been issued a firearm license.” H.R. 45. And that license would be issued by the Attorney General.

The nations of the world are moving toward global governance. That governance will be No Second Amendment rights allowed in the global community.provided by a growing number of global institutions such as the World Trade Organization (WTO), the International Monetary Fund (IMF), United Nations organizations and regional governments modeled after the European Union. The economies and societies of nations will be harmonized and integrated. In this New World Order citizens will not be allowed to own guns .

The Obama administration is earnest in its desire to abolish the private ownership of guns in America and with it, the Second Amendment. Guns are an impediment to those who would  govern from the top down. Since there is no democracy above the nation-state, no one in a position of  power would want an armed citizenry that opposes the destruction of our sovereign republic.

U.S. Representative Bobby L. Rush -[Illinois], introduced H.R. 45, a bill called the “Blair Holt’s Firearm Licensing and Record of Sale Act of 2009”. On February 6, 2009  it was referred to the Subcommittee on Crime, Terrorism and Homeland Security. Although it probably won’t be passed, it clearly demonstrates the determination of those who want to abolish private gun ownership in America. The legislation just keeps flowing.

This bill states that gun sales can only be made between persons who have firearm licenses. See first paragraph above, Sec.101 Licensing Requirement. Click here for the complete bill text.

You have to apply to the Attorney General for a license, which requires a good amount of paperwork and a background check.

The Attorney General can turn you down for a number of reasons. For example, if you are identified as being associated with certain beliefs and organizations.

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) recently issued a report on “Rightwing Extremists” and their beliefs and associations. The fact is that a large number of Americans identify with these “rightwing extremist” views:

According to the DHS, these people may have a  “perception that illegal immigrants were taking away American jobs through their willingness to work at significantly lower wages. They also oppose free trade agreements, arguing that these arrangements resulted in Americans losing jobs to countries such as Mexico.” See the DHS document.

These “perceptions”, of course, are well documented facts. So, evidently the Department of Homeland Security has a problem with citizens who want their borders secure and hold a belief that jobs in America should be for Americans, not illegal aliens who work cheap and provide CEOs with huge profits.

The Department of Homeland Security has more reports that have been sent to their 57 “Fusion Centers ” around the nation, such as the Missouri Information Analysis Center, which list views held by persons that make them potentially dangerous. These include citizens who oppose “abortion, illegal immigration, the New World Order, the North American Union, the Income Tax, the U.N., etc.”

H.R. 45 is another big step in the process of abolishing gun ownership by private citizens. If passed, your chances of obtaining a license are pretty slim. If your application is denied, you have no recourse. No license, no guns.

Both President Obama and Attorney General Eric Holder are dedicated to a gun free America, for legitimate citizens, that is. Obama restated a plan he had for banning certain weapons:

“I have not backed off at all from my belief that the assault weapons ban makes sense.” But he added that he is not “under any illusions that reinstating that ban would be easy.” (04/16/09, The Hill.com)

Attorney General Holder also weighed in:

“There are just a few gun-related changes that we would like to make and ‘among them’ would be to reinstitute the ban on the sale of assault weapons. I think that will have a positive impact in Mexico, at a minimum.”

A little over 30 years ago an attempt was made to terminate me while I was having breakfast at home in the predawn hours. The attack was expected.

The subject was armed with a 45 cal. semi automatic pistol and I had a 38 cal. Smith and Wesson loaded with super vels on the dining table. The bottom line is that I came within a fraction of a second of pulling the trigger from behind my cover and concealment when a neighbor intervened and the subject fled.

Without that weapon, the ending would not have been pleasant for me, which is worth noting for all Americans. If you are assaulted, your chances of having the police there to save you and your family would be about the same as winning the lottery two weeks in a row.

If the government takes away our guns, those with bad intent will still have theirs. Then your life will be one of fear, not only of criminals but of your government also.
